Weekend of 27 to 29 July 2012
Right then for those of you that are: 1. Left in the club ![]() 2. Happy to attend another pub / camping weekend in Devon We have confirmed with the Bundu Camping and Caravan Park that we would like to attend for a group / Motorcycle club camping weekend and they are happy to have us - as the name says they are a park so have some rule about noise etc which I'm sure we'll be OK as there is a Pub within 25 meters of the gate. Val & I have stayed in the park before and the facilities are great. Please book directly with Frances at: frances@bundu.plus.com They are aware we have caravaners, motorhomes and campers please say you are part of the GSClubuk so they can put us all in the same area. This is just down the road from Betty Cottles (2 miles) so in the same area of the moor. Address is: Bundu Sourton Down Okehampton Devon EX20 4HT Contact is: 01837 861 611 frances@bundu.plus.com http://www.bundu.co.uk/ The pub is very nice and has a few rooms, does food and has space in side. http://www.prewleymoorarms.co.uk/ We will of course hold a raffle if you can bring along something to add as prizes... We hope people can still make it to our event, However for the guys that are not happy with another Pub venue - Sid is running an event at his house on the same weekend to which all are welcome.

Re: 'Off the Edge - Prewley Moor 2012'
I see from the map that it is very convenient for the A30
Having said that, the traffic noise is the only complaint that I can see in the 16 reviews at UK Campsites. The rest of the reviews are glowing in their praise for the place, as well as for the pub.I will try my very best to be there.

Re: 'Off the Edge - Prewley Moor 2012'
Bump -
We are still running this one, as well as the Princetown weekend; We have been to the Pub and it is really nice with good food. Please book your pitch and let us know to confirm you are attending so we can let the pub know how much space we'll need

Re: 'Off the Edge - Prewley Moor 2012'
Event raffle - We will be running an event raffle if we gather some prizes!
Please ask your local dealer(s)/shops (anyone) for a small donation you can bring with you - anything goes.. Monies raised will be split between Children's Hospice SW & RBLR Poppy Appeal. Many Thanks

I'm in the process of trying to get out of some other commitments so I can make it.
Pretty sure my cardiac checkup isn't important....

Re: 'Off the Edge - Prewley Moor 2012'
Hey everyone out there, who else is up for this? It may not be the Princetown of old but Betty Cottles last year was a great weekend enjoyed by almost all.
Note to self, I must ring up and book a pitch for myself plus 1 to prove I am going! I may also be bringing my old Gambian pal with his small daughter to show them how the tufty tufty GSers enjoy themselves. Hope to see some new and old faces there.

Re: 'Off the Edge - Prewley Moor 2012'
It'd be good to see a few more GSers at this one.
I'll be Honda mounted but Club minded, maybe those GS's aren't reliable enough for this trip ![]() Seriously, this would be a good event perhaps to consolidate things and as Susi says, for old and new members to meet up and socialise. Peter |

Count me in Dave just booked a room at the Prewley Moor, like a bit of comfort when it's available.
